DISCOVER. NURTURE. ACT.
We encourage DNA Group members to also be part of a Missional Community.
DNA Groups are groups of 6-15 people that study the word together, build lasting friendships, and help each other live in light of what they are learning.
DNA groups are similar to what people think of when they say "small group" or "community group." The emphasis is on the study of God's Word, nurturing this truth into our hearts and in relationship with one another, and living-out our growing faith. Some DNA Groups are activity-based, doing such things as crafts, reading books, quilting, or serving the less fortunate in our city.
Whatever the topic, DNA Group members are learning to hear God and do what He is telling them to do. DNA is an acronym that reminds of us of the three key components of DNA groups:
We discover the truth of God's Word and what it says about living for Jesus in today's world.
We nurture God's truth in our hearts and in relationship with one another as God's family.
We act out our faith by obeying what Jesus calls us to do and sharing with others what He is doing in our lives.
