Hello Amazing Grace Church,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus. I wanted to let you know a couple VERY important things regarding our Sunday services. Our staff and Stewardship Team have been in prayer and conversation regarding the COVID-19 situation. We did not take this decision lightly and have made it in the best interest of the health of those in our church community.
Effective Sunday, March 15, Amazing Grace Church will not be meeting in our sanctuary on Sundays. We will assess the situation on a weekly basis and decide when to resume regular services.
Please allow me to share our thoughts regarding this decision with you:
We are unified as a team on these decisions and actually excited about the potential they provide!
As followers of Jesus, we are filled with God’s Spirit. This means we are a people of sound mind, clear thinking, and trusting God in all things at ALL TIMES!
Although we feel much of the situation made by COVID-19 is overreaction, we should be good stewards of our relationships and respectful of decisions made by those in leadership.
We need to be very cognizant of older members in our congregation who may be at risk and easily compromised.
We believe there are some creative ways to remain connected as a church outside of physically gathering together, which will help keep everyone safe.
Each Sunday and Wednesday we will have worship music by Ross Stremcha, a message by Pastor Paul, Bible study and discussion. IT WILL BE CREATIVE AND FUN!
We are not stopping being the church; rather, we are simply gathering in a different way.
Remaining in prayer and trusting God,
