The one eternal God who is holy and is revealed as three in one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Jesus Christ, the only divine Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, died as a sacrifice for our sins, rose from the dead, returned to heaven, and will come again. The Holy Spirit who convicts us of sin and guides us in truth. The Holy Scriptures are divinely inspired writings and are the inerrant Word of God; the only book in which we teach. All people are born with the nature to sin and desire to please self. This places a barrier between us and the perfect God. Only through believing and accepting the sacrifice of Jesus and the shedding of His blood on the cross can we be restored to God. This is the only ground for salvation. Every person must confess their sin and repent of his/her own personal sin to be forgiven and to be received as a child of God... That by the power of the Holy Spirit any believer can be set free of the desire to follow the sin nature through a total commitment to God and allowing Him to be in control. Prayer is a direct means of communicating with God and developing a relationship with Him. Through prayer we are able to seek God's will, find guidance for our lives, ask for His help, and offer praise and thanksgiving. Everlasting life in heaven is assured to all who believe in and follow Jesus Christ as Lord. The unrepentant will be judged to eternal suffering in hell.
